As seen on B.Loved Blog; "Delicate lighting, soft pastel hues, and plenty of whimsical florals create this fresh & feminine spring bridal inspiration shoot, with an unexpected modern twist! Perfectly executed by Lynsey Claire and captured by Sophie May Photography.
We love the contrast of the geometric backdrop against the most romantic of gowns and prettiest of florals, and don’t get us started on the cake!!"
Nestled into the stunning Staffordshire countryside, Ingetsre Orangery is a Grade II listed building within the grounds of Ingestre Hall. Beautifully subtle and overlooking luscious gardens, it forms part of a group buildings set within an Arcadian landscape at Ingestre.
The Athenian style building characterised with a temple structure at both ends, is a term used to describe “a quiet scene of simple pleasures or beauty”. This was the perfect inspiration for our romantic, soft elegance themed shoot. The impressive architecture provides a natural light, a connection to nature, and avenue you can truly make your own!
The use tonal pinks and nudes to symbolise youth, good health, and playfulness, complimenting the venue’s gorgeous stone wall. A hint of powder blue was introduced as is often referred to as a colour of freedom and creativity – two aspects very much associated with the Orangery’s refurbishment in recent years. The complimentary feeling of light tones from the blue accessories, to the natural daylight of the south facing glass walls, provided an incredibly tranquil and calming atmosphere, providing the perfect inspiration for your relaxed wedding day.
The table consisted of timeless florals in soft pastel tones with gold accents throughout the luxurious tableware and crockery. Glasses edged with an intricate gold design were complimented by the sleek elegance of Ester and Erik candlesticks in tonal pinks and peaches. The perfect table statement for enhancing the natural beauty of the daylight and glass surroundings, was to incorporate a contemporary twist on a classic design, with the ice chiavari chairs, where they could subtly blend into the background. The bespoke stationery design combined a sophisticated style with a classical touch. The wax seals and elegant calligraphy were beautifully wrapped with hand tied blue silks, to fully emphasise the use of the blues against the fresh whites and pinks of the tablescape.
A romantic 3-tier cake hand crafted with soft textured layers, a hint of gold metallic edges, and a long luxurious silk ribbon created the ultimate soft elegance in keeping with the style brief. Maintaining an effortless and natural style throughout is so important for continuity;even inclusive of your hair and makeup! Perfectly matched foundation, subtle eyeshadow, soft highlighted cheeks, and fluffy full brows, accompany a styled, yet softly accessorised hair style with class and elegance.
Breath-taking bridal gowns by Essence of Australia encompass clean necklines, a stunning sparkling bodice, and flowing layers of tulle. They encompass refined glamour, and the sheer fabrics compliment the venue style and light feel. As a wedding planner, it was incredibly important for me that each supplier was to interpret the theme individually and relevant to their skill, with full confidence that this incredible team would produce a dreamy collaboration… And I wasn’t wrong. A symphony of luscious florals, a delicate cake display, stunning bridal gowns, and elegant tablescapes, creates a stunning scene for a timelessly romantic wedding.
We couldn’t agree more!
